Bramhope Show Entry Terms and Conditions
By submitting an entry to Bramhope Show, you agree to the following terms.
1. Entries
Entrants must provide accurate information, select the correct class and comply with any class descriptions, age limits, closing dates and other rules published in the show schedule.
Where an entry is made for a child, the person submitting it confirms that they have authority to do so.
The Show Committee may refuse or remove an entry that is ineligible, unsafe, offensive, incorrectly entered or contrary to the published rules.
2. Entry fees and payment
The applicable entry fees and total amount payable will be shown before payment is made.
Please check your classes and total carefully before completing payment. If the total shown is not what you expect, please do not complete the payment and contact us at bramhopeshow@outlook.com.
An online entry is accepted once the required information and payment have been successfully received.
3. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Requests to change or cancel an entry should be made before the published closing date.
Entry fees are normally non-refundable after the closing date, except where a payment has been taken in error or Bramhope Show cancels the relevant class or event.
The committee may make reasonable changes to classes, arrangements, timings or locations where necessary.
4. Exhibits and judging
Entrants are responsible for delivering and collecting exhibits at the published times.
Reasonable care will be taken of exhibits, but they are submitted at the entrant’s risk. Bramhope Show is not responsible for loss or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Judges’ decisions are final, except where the committee identifies an administrative or eligibility error. The committee may withhold an award where, in the judge’s opinion, the required standard has not been reached.
5. Photography and results
Photography may take place during the show. Entrants’ names, classes, exhibits and awards may be included in show reports, programmes, the website or Bramhope Show social-media pages.
Anyone with concerns about photography should speak to a committee member at the event.
6. Personal information
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Bramhope Show Privacy Policy.
7. General
Nothing in these terms affects any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Bramhope Show Committee respects your privacy and will only use your personal information as described in this policy.
Information we collect
When you contact us or submit an entry, we may collect:
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- the name and age group of the person entering, where relevant;
- details of the classes and exhibits entered;
- payment confirmation and transaction information;
- correspondence relating to your entry; and
- basic technical information used to operate and protect the website.
Where an entry is submitted for a child, the person submitting it confirms that they are the child’s parent, guardian or otherwise authorised to provide the information.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- process and administer show entries;
- collect entry fees and confirm payment;
- contact entrants about arrangements, changes, prizes or queries;
- produce entry lists, judging information and show results;
- maintain financial and administrative records; and
- operate, secure and improve the website.
Our lawful bases are generally performance of the agreement created by your entry, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interest in organising and administering Bramhope Show. We will ask for consent before sending optional marketing communications.
Entrants’ names, classes and awards may be included in show results, programmes, the website or Bramhope Show social-media pages. Contact details will not be published.
Sharing and payment information
Information may be shared with authorised show volunteers, judges and organisations that provide website, email or payment services. We will not sell your personal information.
Where online payment is used, card details are processed securely by the payment provider. Bramhope Show receives confirmation of payment but does not receive or store your full card details.
How long we keep information
Entry details will normally be retained for no longer than 24 months after the relevant show. Payment and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years for accounting, audit and legal purposes.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your personal information or request that inaccurate information is corrected. Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask us to delete or restrict the use of your information or object to its use.
